Event/Game Availability Feature
We need a feature that allows you to check player availability for games/team events. Teamsnap has that feature. The idea is to have a doodle-like feature tied to a specific event. Polling feature only allows single choice and not tied to event/player.

Private View Access Setting to the Team Roster and Individual Stats Tabs
Allow me to maintain a public team page while keeping my team's roster and individual stats private. I know there are work-arounds for this but a display setting for those additional team tabs on top would be appreciated.

Add way to quickly chose event location from predetermined list (check box or similar)
Most organizations use the same 3-4 facilities or locations for most of their games and/or practices.
When creating a new calendar event, there should be a quick and easy way to select one of those frequently-used locations, while also allowing the ability to type in a new/unique location if necessary.
This could be a site-level setting. The webmaster would define the names of the 3-4 facilities to appear on the Add New Event form and then the team manager or coach could just select one of the pre-defined locations when entering a new event. If the location didn't exist in… more

Administrator assignment of DIBS item
Would like to see the ability for the DIBS admin to be able to assign a DIBS item to a specific person. We have several volunteer assignments that go to specific board members. We do not want to post these on DIBS and run the risk of someone else picking up the item by mistake. If our admin could directly assign an item it would solve this problem.

DIBs, claim multiple DIBs as a batch.
At this time there is not a way to claim more than one dib item at a time as a "batch". Based on users feedback, this would be a good feature.

Set the default time of a new calendar event to 1 hour. Or let duration be a site preference.
Most of the events we enter into the calendar are 1 hour long. It would be cool if the add event page automatically filled in the event end time based on the start time entered.
So if I type that the event begins at 5:30 pm, the form automatically enters 6:30 pm as the end time. The end time would need to be editable in case this particular event has a non--standard duration.
Travel websites do something similar. After you enter the departure date for a flight reservation, the system typically pre-selects a return date a few days later. It's… more

Registration Coupons / Promo Codes
On registration sessions, would it be possible to allow admins to create coupons? To take it a step further, could these coupons be valid only during specified date/time ranges? Could they even be restricted to a specific site user? I believe this type of functionality would provide quite a bit of flexibility for those organizations that handle thousands of registrations each session/year.

Add Expiration Date to News Items
Add an Expiration Date to News Articles, so that an article will be displayed only between the current Publish Date and the new Expiration Date. Articles beyond their expiration date would be treated as if they were in Draft mode, no longer visible to users but without admin having to go back in and change them.

Enable the tournament widget feature for all Sport Ngin websites.
Having a tournament bracket page element would save a lot of time and effort for the organizations that host tournaments. No more PDF and Excel files to download!

iCal feed updating
setting the HTTP caching headers of your iCalendar feed to:
Cache-Control: max-age=7200, private, must-revalidate
helps in getting the calendar feed updated (even changed events) at least once a day. That'd be REALLY nice.

Registration System Recognizes when Families have Registered Multiple Players on One Session.
This would be very beneficial in taking care of the need for Multiple Player/Family Discounts. Instead of relying on our members to correctly/honestly answer a question or honestly use a discount code - the system would automatically take care of this for the registrant.

While we are currently exploring a number of mobile options, one way to easily import a feed (at least for news and events) is to utilize the RSS feed functionality on your NGIN site, combined with an RSS application on your smartphone.

League Scheduler
I've looked at other league schedulers and they all ahem ... suck. Schedule Imports is a nice kludge, but it would be really sweet if NGIN offered league scheduling directly. Anybody agree?
